Raven is aware of its position on the market and obligation to its purchasers. Since the year 1997, when the board of the company decided on implementation of the quality systems, we have been intensive working on quality building-up and improving in accordance with the proclaimed Quality policy, which obliges the company’s management and employees both to meet the customers’ requirements and regulate impacts on the environment and work safety.
Decisive stages of building-up:
• June 2000 - Awarding the Slovak Gold certificate
• June 2002 - First certification of Quality Management System according to the ISO 9002 standard
• December 2003 - Certification according to the revised standard ISO 9001:2000
• July 2004 - Certification of integrated Quality System completed by requirements of the ISO 14001 and BSi OHSAS 18001

• October 2006 - Recertification of Quality System, enhancement of certifications’ validity by production of steel items, renewal of certifications’ validity until the year 2009.
The Quality Management System is built up in accordance with approved management principles. It is characterized by detailed mapping of methods and elaboration of methodical directions regulating activities, reliabilities and competences of employees. The detailed examination of contract in compliance with responsibly selected quality and reliable suppliers minimize the possibility of defects in realised deliveries. The regular assessment of efficiency of predetermined indicators and their control at all management levels leads to the growth and development of the company, which also affects sufficiency of resources for continual improving of integrated quality system.
By current range of our activities we do not forget about responsibility for environment management. We have analyzed the environmental aspects affecting our environment. We have control over all impacts connected with the eventual pollution of air, water, soil and utilizing natural resources. We are strictly concerned with the waste separation. We meet all legislative requirements put on our activity in connection with the environment.
By evaluation and categorization of the risks which our employees are exposed to, we define the impacts affecting their health and minimize the eventual reasons of injuries and therethrough we assure safety and health protection at work. We can responsibly declare that our employees work in the safety environment with assurance of all needed protective means.
The quality of provided services is proven not only by the quality certificates, but also by the Certificate of quality trademark and the Slovak Gold certificate that the company Raven obtained for its services in the sphere of wholesale and retail trade with metallurgical material and transportation to destination.
